In recent days, the rainfall in areas such as Jizhou in Tianjin has intensified, and the upstream water flow of rivers such as Chaobai River has increased. On the night of July 27th, the water level and inflow of water in Yangzhuang Reservoir rose rapidly, causing some villages along the river to be inundated. On the 28th, the municipal flood control office in response to Jizhou District initiated a level four emergency response, and issued an orange warning for geological and meteorological risks. The municipal hydrological and water resources management center issued a blue warning for flood in the Chaobai River. According to the forecast of the municipal meteorological department, the rainfall in some areas of our city will continue to increase from the night of the 28th to the daytime of the 29th, accompanied by short-term strong winds in some areas. The municipal party committee and government attach great importance to this and respond promptly, organizing all relevant parties to carry out flood control and disaster relief work. Chen Min'er, the secretary of the municipal party committee, and Zhang Gong, the deputy secretary of the municipal party committee and mayor, made arrangements and conducted dispatches for the first time. In the afternoon of the 28th, Chen Min'er and Zhang Gong went to Baodi District and Jizhou District to inspect the flow of Chaobai River and Puhe River on site, visited Wangzhuang Village in Luozhuangzi Town to understand the situation of village flooding and personnel evacuation, and inspected and coordinated flood control work.
