According to the data from GGII's research, the shipment volume of lithium battery cathode materials in China in the first half of 2025 is expected to be 2.1 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 53%. It is estimated that the shipment volume of cathode materials in China will exceed 4.4 million tons in 2025. In terms of the shipment structure of cathode materials in the first half of 2025, lithium iron phosphate materials account for 1.61 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 68%, accounting for 77% of the total shipment volume of cathode materials; ternary materials account for 0.35 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 15%; lithium cobaltate and lithium manganate materials account for 5.9 million tons and 7.4 million tons respectively, with year-on-year growth of 28% and 25% respectively.
