On the 27th local time, due to the extreme high temperatures, wildfires broke out in many parts of Turkey. Local fire departments urgently deployed thousands of firefighters and dozens of aircraft to extinguish the fires, but the fire is still spreading in some areas. Local governments have evacuated over 3600 residents. Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Bekir Pakdemirli, stated that the wildfires in the southern and central provinces of Turkey are now under control.
