According to the Chinese financial news app, Sina Finance, Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed last Sunday that the electric car maker has signed a $16.5 billion semiconductor supply agreement with Samsung Electronics. Tesla was confirmed as an unnamed party in regulatory documents earlier released by the South Korean tech giant.
