Bangladesh wants to purchase Boeing aircraft and is seeking to reduce tariffs from the United States.

Bangladesh has proposed to purchase 25 aircraft from Boeing as a bargaining chip, hoping to persuade US President Trump to lower tariffs on Bangladesh. This proposal is based on the trade agreement model recently reached between the United States and Indonesia. The Minister of Commerce of Bangladesh, in an interview on Sunday, said, "We have made commitments that are sustainable for us. Purchasing Boeing aircraft is part of it." He added, "If they compare our proposal with other countries, we should be able to get better conditions."
