From July 25th to 27th, Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, led a delegation from the CPC to attend the Liberation Movement Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa and delivered a speech, emphasizing that political parties in China and Africa should strengthen unity and cooperation, work together on the path of modernization, and uphold the common interests of "Global South" countries. During the conference, Liu Jianchao met with South African ANC Chairman and President Ramaphosa, ANC Secretary General Mantashe, and Treasurer-General Makhwoba, as well as the Zimbabwean MDC Chairman and First Secretary, President Mnangagwa, the Mozambique FRELIMO Party Chairman and President Nyusi, the Namibian SWAPO Party Chairman and President Geingob, the Tanzanian CCM Central Committee member and former Prime Minister Pinda, and the Angolan MPLA Vice Chairman Queiroz and other political party leaders for exchanges.
