It was learned from the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hunan Province that the "Three-year Action Plan for High-quality Development of Emergency Equipment Industry in Hunan Province" jointly issued by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of the province and four other departments recently proposed that by 2027, the operating income of the province's emergency equipment industry will exceed 100 billion yuan, with an average annual growth of about 10%. The "Action Plan" clearly states that it will give full play to the advantages of industries such as engineering machinery, rail transit equipment, and general aviation, focus on strengthening the fine segments of engineering emergency rescue, firefighting and rescue, drainage and flood control, and vigorously develop cutting-edge intelligent emergency equipment such as rescue robots, emergency drones, and intelligent flood control and drainage systems, accelerating the construction of an "integrated with two wings" industrial system with "emergency disposal equipment as the main body, and monitoring and warning as well as safety protection equipment as the two wings". The "Action Plan" lists "unmanned" and "intelligent" technologies as the development forefront, and clearly aims to create a national leading scale application pilot area for "Beidou+", relying on pilot cities for national Beidou scale applications such as Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Yueyang. Hunan will focus on breakthroughs in satellite communication and navigation, artificial intelligence, big data, and other technologies, to create a leading manufacturing cluster in the "Beidou+" emergency equipment industry. At the same time, with Changsha and Zhuzhou as the main bases, in conjunction with the engineering machinery and aviation industries, a national-level low-altitude emergency equipment comprehensive application demonstration area will be created to develop intelligent unmanned aerial rescue systems, low-altitude monitoring and warning platforms, and other equipment.
