The Transport Department of Hong Kong announced today that official taxi fleet licenses have been issued to 4 taxi fleets for a period of 5 years. These 4 fleets will officially start operating from today. A spokesperson for the Transport Department stated that all fleets provide ride-hailing services, and passengers can book trips through the fleet's mobile app or other ride-hailing platforms. The fleets also provide customer service hotlines to handle passenger inquiries and complaints. Additionally, all taxis in the fleets accept multiple electronic payment methods and are equipped with safety devices such as dashcams, in-car cameras, GPS navigation systems, and driver monitoring systems to ensure passenger convenience and driving safety.
