Residents have replaced the housing tax refund policy since its implementation and have refunded 11.1 billion yuan in personal income tax.

Cai Zili, deputy director of the State Administration of Taxation, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on the 28th that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the country has introduced or extended a series of tax incentives, including continuing to separately tax one-time annual bonuses, exempting tax refunds of less than 400 yuan, and other widely applicable policies, reducing individual taxes by 580 billion yuan. The resident housing purchase tax refund policy, implemented since October 2022, has already refunded 11.1 billion yuan in individual taxes, effectively reducing the tax burden for these individuals.
