On July 27th, the Shaolin Scenic Area on Mount Song issued an announcement: currently, it is the peak season for summer tourism, and the number of visitors to the Shaolin Scenic Area continues to rise. In order to effectively implement crowd control measures at the scenic area, ensure the safety of visitors, and improve the tourist experience, starting from July 31st, 2025, the Shaolin Scenic Area will fully implement online reservation ticket purchasing. The scenic area will temporarily suspend full-price ticket sales and offline ticket purchasing for visitors under 18 years old, while retaining a small number of service windows to provide necessary offline services for visitors who are eligible for discounts.
