Two departments transferred emergency communication drones and other equipment to support communication security in rain-hit areas.

Since July 25th, seven townships in Hebei Baoding, Shaanxi Yan'an, Beijing Miyun and other places have experienced partial communication interruptions due to heavy rainfall. The Ministry of Emergency Management promptly identified the areas with communication interruptions through the monitoring system of towers and communication big data, and guided the local authorities to make full use of more than 4,300 satellite phones, 370MHz walkie-talkies, Beidou terminals and other communication equipment pre-deployed, and dispatched six fixed-wing and compound-wing emergency communication drones in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, quickly establishing an aerial communication network to support the three provinces in ensuring emergency command communication for the affected areas.
