Passenger trains in Inner Mongolia region are gradually resuming service affected by rainfall.
According to the China Railway Hohhot Bureau, passenger trains that were suspended due to heavy rainfall in the central and western parts of Inner Mongolia since July 23 have gradually resumed operation from last night to today. Among them, the Baolan and Baoxi railways resumed passenger services from 6 p.m. on the 26th, while the Beijing-Baotou, Hohhot-Erenhot, Jining-Erlian, and Jining-Tongliao railways resumed passenger services from 8 a.m. on the 27th. The railway department will dynamically adjust the operation plan of passenger trains, open more ticket windows to meet the needs of passengers for quick entry and ticket purchase, strengthen supervision and guidance during peak hours, and organize passenger boarding and alighting effectively. They will actively assist key passengers to ensure safe and convenient travel.
