From the afternoon of the 26th to the early morning of the 27th, the northwest region of Beijing's Miyun District experienced heavy rainfall, with over 300 millimeters of rain in just over half a day, reaching the level of an extremely heavy rainstorm. Miyun District in Beijing upgraded to a red alert for heavy rain on the evening of the 26th. The heavy rain caused flash floods and landslides, resulting in some roads being blocked in Shicheng Town, Fengjiayu Town, and Buyaotun Town in Miyun, where firefighters rescued some trapped villagers. Currently, some villages still have interrupted communication signals. Firefighters, armed police, and other rescue teams are moving towards the affected areas.
