The report said that the North Korean side, in the name of Kim Jong Un, presented a wreath to the Friendship Tower. Kim Jong Un stated, "We will always remember the contributions and achievements of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army martyrs who are inscribed in the glorious history of the country's victory in the Korean Fatherland Liberation War." North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Son Gwon and Kim Song Nam, Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Worker's Party of Korea, were also present.
