Recently, the Pudong New Area of Shanghai, a highland in the biopharmaceutical industry in China, released the "Functional Enhancement Plan for the Pudong New Area Biomedical Industry Park", which for the first time proposed to create a global first-launch site for innovative drugs and medical devices, a preferred location for scientist innovation and entrepreneurship, and a pioneer in institutional reform. The plan also stated that by 2027, the scale of the biopharmaceutical industry in Pudong New Area will exceed 500 billion yuan.
