Two killed in a collision between a motorboat and a speedboat in Beihai, Guangxi, official report.

The investigation team of Haicheng District, Beihai City, Guangxi Province reported on July 25th that at 14:25 on July 22nd, a collision incident occurred between a motorboat and a speedboat near Yugu Sha Island in the jurisdiction of Dijiao Street, Haicheng District, Beihai City. According to preliminary investigation, Yan and others went to the sea area where the incident occurred to play, during which Yan agreed to ride on the motorboat with the motorboat owner. At 14:25, Yan was in front and motorboat driver Wu was in the back, and the two rode on the motorboat to the sea. In the sea area about 200 meters away from the shore, the motorboat they were on collided with another speedboat. Both Yan and the motorboat driver fell into the water. Nearby boats immediately conducted a rescue operation and brought the two back to shore. Medical staff confirmed on site that the two persons who fell into the water had no vital signs.
