Thailand has announced the imposition of martial law in certain areas bordering Cambodia.

On the 25th, the Thai Navy announced that the Border Security Command of the Thai provinces of Sa Kaeo and Trat declared martial law in some areas bordering Cambodia. The announcement stated that due to Cambodia's use of military force and heavy weapons to infringe on Thai sovereignty, it was necessary to fully command the military and relevant personnel to stop this in order to maintain the country's independence and territorial integrity, and to ensure the safety of Thai people's lives and properties. Therefore, martial law has been implemented in 7 districts of Sa Kaeo province and 1 district of Trat province. The martial law measures are effective immediately.
