Morgan downgraded its rating on consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble (PG.US) from "buy" to "neutral" before the company's fourth quarter earnings report next week. Analyst Andrea Teixeira stated that J.P. Morgan's decision was made for cautious reasons, as the team believes that due to slowing growth in the category, Procter & Gamble's organic sales growth will remain weak in the next few quarters.
