According to the unified accounting results of the regional gross domestic product, Xinjiang's gross domestic product in the first half of the year was 9846.48 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 5.7% at constant prices. In the first half of the year, agricultural production in Xinjiang grew steadily, with the summer grain yield per unit area continuing to increase. According to the preliminary assessment of the National Bureau of Statistics, the total summer grain yield in Xinjiang in 2025 reached 6.84 million tons, ranking sixth in the country, highlighting Xinjiang's strategic position as the "western granary" and providing solid guarantee for the key livelihood of ensuring food security and quality.
