Hebei issues a Level III emergency response to significant meteorological disasters.

The Hebei Provincial Meteorological Observatory continued to issue an orange alert for heavy rain on July 25, 2025. Severe precipitation of heavy rain and above has been reported in the southern part of Chengde, northern part of Tangshan, and Baoding. According to the forecast of the Hebei Provincial Meteorological Observatory, it is expected that parts of Chengde in the central and southern areas, Baoding, and the northern part of Langfang will continue to experience heavy rain today, with locally severe precipitation. There will be thunderstorms, short-term heavy rainfall, and short-term strong winds accompanying the rainfall in some areas. The Hebei Provincial Meteorological Disaster Defense Command has decided to upgrade the emergency response to Level III starting from 6 a.m. on July 25th.
