Jixing New Energy: Intends to raise funds for the development of a 9.6 megawatt natural gas power generation project through equity financing.
On the morning of July 25th, Jixing New Energy announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that at the board meeting held on July 23, 2025, the board of directors reviewed the progress of the company's 9.6 megawatt natural gas power plant project and approved the initiation of the engineering, procurement, and construction phases of the project. Although the application for regulatory permits and approvals for the project is still ongoing, the company has decided to continue with several activities in the EPC phase, as it recognizes the strategic importance of maintaining the project's momentum and readiness. The board of directors currently estimates that the cost of the EPC phase will be approximately 5.84 million Canadian dollars. The total cost incurred during the EPC phase will be paid in installments and may be further adjusted based on subsequent quotes from other independent suppliers and current market conditions. The company intends to raise funds for the development of this project through equity financing.
