Yesterday, Pony.ai announced that its seventh-generation Alpha T5 self-driving vehicle has begun public road testing in Beijing. It is worth mentioning that this model is a mass-produced vehicle created through a collaboration between Pony.ai and BAIC New Energy, with Level 4 autonomous driving capabilities. Currently, Pony.ai's seventh-generation self-driving vehicle fleet is conducting routine tests in a 225 square kilometer advanced autonomous driving demonstration area in Beijing. After obtaining permission for passenger testing in the future, it will meet the diverse travel and experiential needs of Beijing residents.
