The work will mainly focus on two aspects: first, strengthen the top-level design by issuing the "Guidelines for Health Assessment of Lithium-ion Batteries for Electric Bicycles," revising and issuing the "Industry Standard Conditions for Comprehensive Utilization of Waste Power Batteries for New Energy Vehicles," and utilizing leading enterprises in the comprehensive utilization of waste power batteries for new energy vehicles to also handle scrapped electric bicycle batteries. Secondly, carry out special actions. In August of last year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology had already started the health assessment of lithium-ion batteries for electric bicycles in Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang.
