Chinese Zijin mining is leading in the competition to acquire Barrick Tongon gold mine.

The media quoted two informed sources as revealing that China's Zijin Mining is leading the bidding for Barrick Mining, the world's third-largest gold producer, located in the Tongon gold mine in northern Cte d'Ivoire, with a potential bid of up to $500 million.
