The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission seeks replacement of all five members of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.
The U.S. auditing regulatory agency is facing its third leadership change since 2017, with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission previously stating that it would seek candidates to fill all five seats on the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. Following Erika Williams' resignation as chair of the board on Tuesday, the board is operating under the interim leadership of board member George Botic. The terms of the board members have not yet expired.
