Our country's first 4th generation commercial fast reactor with a capacity of one million kilowatts has completed its preliminary design.

The Advanced Nuclear Power Industry Development Symposium was held in Fuzhou on July 22. At the symposium, China National Nuclear Corporation announced that the country's first 4th generation one million kilowatt commercial fast reactor, CFR1000, has completed preliminary design. Zheng Yangguo, Deputy Chief Engineer of China National Nuclear Corporation, introduced that the country's first one million kilowatt commercial fast reactor fully embodies the requirements of fourth-generation nuclear energy systems for safety, sustainability, and economy, with an installed capacity of up to 1.2 million kilowatts.
