The American electric car manufacturer Lucid has formed the American Battery Materials Alliance.

American electric car manufacturer Lucid Group announced on Wednesday that it has formed the American Battery Materials Alliance in collaboration with several key mineral producers to accelerate the development and procurement of critical minerals for the American automotive industry. This new alliance, called the National Automotive Competitiveness Mineral Collaboration Program, includes members such as Alaska Energy Metals, Graphite One, Electric Metals, and RecycLiCo. MINAC's established goals include advancing domestic mineral production through purchasing agreements, identifying and addressing commercialization barriers, strengthening collaboration between the mining and automotive industries, and supporting American car manufacturers and primary suppliers in sourcing certified domestic materials.
