Six college students died from accidental falling into the water during a study visit to a company in Inner Mongolia.
On the 23rd, according to the Emergency Management Bureau of Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, at around 10:20 on July 23, six students from Northeastern University were visiting and learning about the flotation process in the ore dressing plant of Wunugetu Mountain Copper-Molybdenum Mine of China Gold Inner Mongolia Mining Co., Ltd. Due to the fall of the grating board into the flotation tank, after a full rescue effort, the six individuals were rescued, but medical personnel confirmed that they had drowned. Another teacher was injured. Currently, the local Party committee and government, Northeastern University, and China Gold Group Co., Ltd. are carrying out post-incident disposal work.
