The State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters has initiated a level four emergency response for flood prevention in Inner Mongolia and Qinghai, sending working groups to provide on-site guidance.
According to the meteorological department's forecast, from July 23 to 26, there will be heavy to torrential rain in some areas of the eastern part of the northwest region and the central and western parts of Inner Mongolia, with locally severe rainstorms. In accordance with the "National Flood and Drought Emergency Response Plan" and relevant regulations, the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters has decided to initiate a level four flood control emergency response for Inner Mongolia and Qinghai on July 23. A working group will be dispatched to the front line in Inner Mongolia to assist and guide flood control and disaster relief work.
