Hong Kong stocks closed higher: the Hang Seng Index rose by 1.62% to hit a nearly four-year high, with technology and internet stocks leading the gains.

Hong Kong stocks closed, with the Hang Seng Index rising 1.62% to a new nearly 4-year high, and the Hang Seng Tech Index rising 2.48%. Hong Kong tech ETFs closed up 1.91%, while Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF rose 1.32%. Tech stocks led the gains, with Kuaishou-W up more than 7%, Baidu Group-SW up more than 6%, and Tencent Holdings up more than 4%.
