The fixed asset investment of State Grid Corporation of China in the first half of the year increased by 11.7% year on year.

The data released by the State Grid Corporation of China recently showed that in the first half of 2025, the State Grid completed fixed asset investment of over 270 billion yuan, an increase of 11.7% year-on-year, reaching the highest scale in the same period. The traded electricity volume in the operational area reached 2,550 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 5% year-on-year, accounting for 75.3% of the total traded electricity volume; the newly added grid-connected capacity of wind and solar new energy in the operational area was 203 million kilowatts, an increase of 108.7% year-on-year.
