The supply of the rental car market in Guangzhou is trending towards saturation.

Recently, the Guangzhou Municipal Transportation Bureau released the "Guangzhou Taxi Industry Market Operation Monitoring Index Information Release Report for the first half of 2025". The data shows that the number of Guangzhou's regular taxis, drivers, and average daily income per vehicle are all on a downward trend, with an average daily revenue of about 607.40 yuan per vehicle. In contrast, the number of online ride-hailing vehicles and drivers continues to increase. By the end of June, a total of 343,091 "Network Reservation Taxi Driver Licenses" were issued, an increase of 19,515 from the end of December 2024.
