During the symposium, the leaders of participating enterprises introduced the current development status, challenges faced in their industries, and their opinions and suggestions for development during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. The participating enterprises mentioned that cooperation and development between state-owned and private enterprises in the industrial chain, supply chain, and equity investment are not only objective needs for business development but also specific manifestations of implementing national policy guidelines. State-owned and private enterprises each have their own advantages, and there is huge potential for coordinated development. They suggested that when formulating the "14th Five-Year Plan", the country should highlight the improvement of policy mechanisms for the coordinated development of state-owned and private enterprises, support and guide enterprises to expand cooperation space, and enhance overall development benefits.

Director Zheng Zhajie pointed out that enterprises, as micro-subjects, have the most direct perception and the most sensitive reaction to the macroeconomy. In the first half of the year, China's economy has made steady progress, which is inseparable from the efforts and contributions of enterprises. Facing changes in the current internal and external situations, enterprises need to seize opportunities and development space for innovation and breakthroughs to make more contributions to promoting high-quality development.
The opinions and suggestions of the participating enterprises on future development are of great reference value for the formulation of the "14th Five-Year Plan". The National Development and Reform Commission will conscientiously implement the decisions and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, adhere to and implement them without wavering, actively take practical and effective measures, improve the institutional mechanisms for the coordinated development of state-owned and private enterprises, promote rectification of the "involution-type" competition, expand industrial chain and supply chain cooperation, promote technological innovation, improve corporate governance, and internationalize operations, etc., promoting the complementary advantages and common development of various economic ownerships and further enhancing the vitality and competitiveness of economic development.
