Kerry hired Goldman Sachs executive Chi to expand its credit business, who will start work in the beginning of next year.

KKR hired a senior executive from Goldman Sachs Group to lead its direct lending business, as the asset management firm is committed to expanding its private credit business. According to an internal memo seen by the media, Alex Chi, who recently served as Co-Head of Goldman Sachs Asset Management's Americas private credit business, will join KKR in early 2026. In addition to leading the direct lending business, he will also serve as Co-Head of Investments for KKR's credit department, which has assets under management of $199 billion. The memo states that Chi will join KKR as a partner and become a member of KKR's leadership committee.
