The launching ceremony of the Sino-Russian joint marine scientific research expedition was held in Vladivostok, a port city in the Russian Far East, on the 22nd. Researchers from both countries will depart on the Russian research vessel "Academician Lavrentyev" on the 23rd to conduct scientific research activities in the Bering Sea and the northwest Pacific Ocean.
