OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated that UK's leadership in science and the newly introduced "AI Opportunity Action Plan" facilitated this collaboration. He pointed out that this collaboration echoes the US "Stargate" project and expands OpenAI's business scope beyond the UAE.
