Official response to Beijing's ban on fuel vehicles on ride-hailing platforms
Starting from July 20th, the news that "Beijing will completely ban gasoline vehicles from online ride-hailing platforms" has been circulating on the internet. This news, from the China Urban Public Transport Association's online ride-hailing branch, has been removed. On July 22nd, the association responded to reporters, stating: "The source of the news has not been verified, nor has it been confirmed by authoritative departments, and has been retracted." Currently, cities such as Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dongguan, and Xi'an have already phased out gasoline vehicles from online ride-hailing platforms.
