Official response to the ban on fuel cars on Beijing's ride-hailing platforms
Starting from July 20th, the news that "Beijing gasoline cars are completely banned from online ride-hailing platforms" has been circulating on the internet. This information, which came from the Chinese Urban Public Transport Association's online ride-hailing branch, has been taken down. On July 22nd, the association responded to a reporter from First Financial Daily saying: "The source of the news has not been verified, nor has it been confirmed by authoritative departments, and has been withdrawn." Currently, cities such as Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Xi'an, etc. have already phased out gasoline cars from online ride-hailing services.
