It was disclosed that in the first half of the year, the total revenue of the telecommunications industry reached 905.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1%. Calculated at constant prices from the previous year, the total volume of telecommunications services increased by 9.3% year-on-year. As of the end of June, the total number of mobile phone users of the three basic telecommunications companies and China Radio and Television reached 1.81 billion households, an increase of 19.93 million households compared to the end of last year. Among them, the number of 5G mobile phone users reached 1.118 billion households, an increase of 104 million households compared to the end of last year, accounting for 61.8% of mobile phone users.
