The total volume of telecommunications services calculated at constant prices from the previous year increased by 9.3% year-on-year. As of the end of June, the total number of mobile phone users of the three basic telecommunications companies and China Radio and Television reached 1.81 billion, an increase of 19.93 million from the end of the previous year. Among them, the number of 5G mobile phone users reached 1.118 billion, an increase of 104 million from the end of the previous year, accounting for 61.8% of mobile phone users. As of the end of June, the total number of 5G base stations reached 4.549 million, an increase of 298,000 from the end of the previous year, accounting for 35.7% of the total number of mobile base stations, an increase of 1.3 percentage points compared to the first quarter.
