Xiao Sheng, director of the Capital Projects Management Department of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, stated at a press conference that, based on the previous pilot program, preparations are being made to comprehensively cancel the registration of foreign direct investment reinvestment nationwide. This will facilitate foreign-invested enterprises to directly transfer reinvestment funds to related accounts, reduce the operational costs of enterprises and the time for fund circulation, and improve investment efficiency. The stage of public consultation for this notification has ended, and we are currently working hard to sort out and study the opinions and suggestions received. The official publication will be released as soon as possible on the basis of fully absorbing all parties' opinions.
