National Bureau of Statistics: 7 data labeling bases have been established with a total of 524 datasets.

The National Bureau of Statistics held a press conference today to introduce the 2025 China International Big Data Industry Expo. The relevant person in charge of the National Bureau of Statistics stated that they will comprehensively accelerate the construction and application of high-quality data sets, further promoting the marketization and value realization of data elements. High-quality data sets, which are processed through data collection and processing, can be directly used for the development and training of artificial intelligence models, effectively improving the performance of the models. It was reported that the National Bureau of Statistics has organized the collection and promotion of typical cases of high-quality data sets, digging into benchmark practices in key areas such as healthcare, industry, and transportation. They have also guided seven cities including Hefei and Chengdu to establish data labeling bases and explore the experience of developing the data labeling industry. As of the first half of this year, the seven data labeling bases have built 524 data sets and served 163 large models.
