The State Council Information Office held a series of themed press conferences on "achieving high-quality completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan" on July 22, introducing the achievements in the development of the cause for persons with disabilities during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and answering questions from journalists. Li Dongmei, Vice Chairman and Vice President of China Disabled Persons' Federation, stated that efforts will continue to be made to ensure the well-being of disabled students, with economically disadvantaged disabled students generally enjoying 12 years of free education.
