Shanghai's foreign trade has increased for five consecutive months, with the total value of imports and exports reaching 2.15 trillion yuan in the first half of the year.
The Shanghai Customs Administration reported on the import and export situation of goods in the first half of this year in Shanghai. Since the beginning of the year, facing a complex and severe external environment, Shanghai's foreign trade has resisted pressure and progressed steadily, responding to the uncertainty of the external environment with high-quality development, demonstrating strong resilience and vitality. In the first half of the year, Shanghai achieved a total import and export value of 2.15 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.4% compared to the previous year. This consisted of exports totaling 952.7 billion yuan, an increase of 11.1%, and imports totaling 1.2 trillion yuan, a decrease of 3.6%.
