During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the employment rate of people with disabilities has increased by nearly 5 percentage points.

Li Dongmei, Vice Chairman and Vice President of the China Disabled Persons' Federation, stated at the "High-Quality Completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan" series of press conference held by the State Council Information Office on July 22 that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the annual increase in employment for disabled people in urban and rural areas nationwide has remained stable at over 400,000 people. The employment rate of disabled people has increased by nearly 5 percentage points. Over the past five years, the number of disabled people who are employed in a stable manner and with higher incomes has grown by over 20%.
