Since the launch of "Cross-border Wealth Management Link" 2.0, approximately 30,000 new individual investors have been added by banks in the Shenzhen area.

The press conference for the second quarter of 2025 held by the Shenzhen Branch of the People's Bank of China and the Shenzhen Branch of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange revealed that Shenzhen continues to promote the expansion of the "Cross-border Wealth Management Connect" business pilot project. Since the launch of "Cross-border Wealth Management Connect 2.0", the banks in the Shenzhen area have added about 30,000 new individual investors, with a total cross-border payment and settlement amount reaching 472 billion yuan, accounting for nearly half of the total amount in the Greater Bay Area.
