According to The Wall Street Journal, the White House recently announced a $500 billion Stargate plan aimed at strengthening America's ambitions in the field of artificial intelligence. However, the plan has been difficult to launch and has been significantly scaled back in recent times. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that SoftBank and OpenAI are at odds over key terms of the "Stargate" collaboration, including the issue of location. The sources said that although the two companies pledged to "immediately" invest $100 billion in January, the project has now set a more modest goal of establishing a small data center by the end of this year, possibly in Ohio.
