Today, reporters learned from CNOOC that the development project of the 100-million-ton oil field Kaili 10-2 in the Bohai Sea of China has been put into operation smoothly, marking the official entry of China's largest offshore large-scale shallow rock oil field into the production stage. The Kaili 10-2 oil field is located in the southern part of the Bohai Sea, about 245 kilometers away from Tianjin. The average water depth in the area is about 20 meters, with proven geological reserves exceeding 100 million tons. It is the first billion-ton rock oil field discovered in the shallow layers of the Bohai Bay Basin depression zone.
