The regulation will standardize the behavior of housing rental brokerage agencies as an important aspect, with clear provisions on several key aspects. First, there are requirements for their own conditions. It is specified that housing rental brokerage agencies should have their own funds, employees, and management capabilities that are suitable for their operational scale, and they should register the list of employees with the local real estate management department. Second, there are requirements for information disclosure. It is stipulated that housing rental brokerage agencies should verify and record the identity information of the client and the property ownership information before posting property information, conduct on-site inspections of the property, and prepare a housing condition report; clearly list the prices for fee-based services; and specify the applicable provisions in this regulation for housing rental brokerage agencies regarding submitting information for opening a business, disclosing relevant information about the business, posting property information, and establishing sound internal management systems.
