Reporters learned from the Fujian Provincial Department of Transportation that in the first half of 2025, a total of 2274 voyages were made on 128 "Silk Road Maritime" container shipping routes in China, with a total container throughput of 2.6395 million TEUs. Among them, in Fujian Province, a total of 1146 voyages were made on 74 "Silk Road Maritime" routes, with a container throughput of 1.2337 million TEUs, an increase of 4.55% compared to the previous year. Since the opening of the "Silk Road Maritime" routes in 2018, as of June 30, 2025, a total of 19,907 voyages have been made on 128 "Silk Road Maritime" container shipping routes nationwide, with a total container throughput of 23.4707 million TEUs. As China's first international shipping comprehensive logistics service platform for the Belt and Road, the "Silk Road Maritime" routes are highly favored by foreign trade enterprises.
